The Spirit Drawing Guild transforms Wizbang’s Spirit Room into a lively drawing salon each month. This is not a quiet classroom session but a mix of live art, variety theatre, and social gathering.
The evening begins with quick gesture poses of one to two minutes and builds to longer poses of up to twenty minutes. Models are drawn from Wizbang’s world of performers, from vaudevillians and magicians to drag artists and circus mischief makers.
Between rounds, expect lighthearted drawing challenges and contests that spark creativity and add to the fun.
Admission is $5 for students and $10 for all other artists. You can pay at the door or reserve online. A limited number of select table tickets are available (8 total), giving you extra space for your accouterments.
